Today was one of those days where I felt like I was being rewarded for all of the work I’ve been doing. I logged into my affiliate account with amazon and saw a ridiculous number of sales. The majority of sales were not related to the items I’m promoting on my sites. On the amazon dashboard for the orders report, it shows the number of clicks that came through the links on my sites and the number of “other” clicks that were credited to my account once the visitor was already on amazon (basically, these “other” people decided to browse around amazon).

With these “other” clicks, I always check to see what the people are buying. I then take the name of the product and any related keywords that I can think of and plug it into Micro Niche Finder to see if it will meet the money siphon criteria. If it meets the criteria, then I either add it to one of my general-domain sites or I’ll buy a new domain for the new keyword. I find that this helps me to target keywords that I may have never thought of. This is also a good thing to do with your google analytics account. Find out what additional keywords are bringing traffic to your site. Instead of buying new domains with these keywords, use them in your article marketing campaigns, especially when the analytics show that the person that used that term has spent a lot of time on your site or has visited more than one page.

I finished my latest domain. A couple of the pages have already been indexed in the search engines. I found this out when I was researching information about my keyword and there goes one of my pages on the first page of Google. And that was without any bookmarking or article marketing. Anyway, tomorrow I will ping, bookmark, and rss submit the site. Then, I will begin article marketing for it.
