I got more work done on adding pages to one of my major sites. My bookmarking is still going strong with Bookmarking Demon. It has a scheduler feature that allows you to schedule your bookmarks. So, I have that running in the background while I work on other stuff. If it requires my attention, there’s a chime sound that I’ll hear. It’s really a simple tool once you get it going.

As for my new pages, they pretty much follow the same structure as all of my sites. I have a few pictures at the top of the page related to the keyword. So, let’s say my keyword was “cars.” I would put a few images of cars across the top of the page under the title. Then I would begin writing about cars. I then include links and pictures to my affiliates sites that may sell cars, car accessories, or car insurance. I use widgets from ebay or amazon to simplify this process. But, keep in mind for SEO, you want to make sure that you use your keyword once every 100 words. Some people say put it twice in the first paragraph and once at the end of the page, but depending on your word count (not including images) this may be too much or too little keyword density to help with your search engine rankings. I also monetize with google adsense. The locations on my page that bring in the most adsense money is:

-in the header ( the very top of the website’s page)
-in my content at the top of the content or in the middle

I use the EasyAdsenser Plugin that makes this simple. If you’re using Wordpress to set up your sites, then you can get access to this plugin. I also use other plugins as well:

• All In One SEO: this allows me to input the title, description, and keywords that I want to see show up in the search engines
• Cbnet Ping Optimizer (if you get Cbnet MBP Auto-Update too, you won’t have to opt-in with your email address to use it): this prevents you from over-pinging your site and being penalized from the ping sites. Every time you save, edit, publish, or update your page, Wordpress pings it. The optimizer will only ping your page when you publish it. That way you won’t look like your spamming these ping services. It also allows you to add more ping services to Wordpress. Wordpress’ default service is only pingomatic. I always add more services to my sites as I find them. Right now my ping services include:

• Feedburner: I use Feedburner to keep track of all of my feeds and new subscribers. I also monetize my feeds with adsense ads, so there’s another source of revenue.
• ShareThis: This allows my readers to share my sites across the web
• Smart YouTube: Sometimes I embed a how-to video on my sites for certain products. This feature allows me to do so easily.
• Twitter Tools: I always create a twitter account for all of my sites. As soon as I make a new posts or page, I can post it to twitter automatically.
• WP-Spam Free: This tool is so helpful. I get alot of spam from all of my sites and this prevents me from having to delete it all.
• RSS Includes Pages: This plugin allows you to include both posts and pages in your rss feed.

I’ll work on article marketing tomorrow and possibly throughout the weekend. This is my least favorite thing to do. I don’t outsource any of my work. I just invest in tools to help me out. So, trying to think of things to write takes me a little longer, but it’s worth it in the long run.

If you’re still struggling to make money online, just don’t give up. Sometimes I have really good commission days and other times I don’t. But, if I give up, I’ll never know how much I can make. Using the Money Siphon System and Google Sniper, I’ve been able to help my husband make ends meet. I was laid off in 2008 and tried to start my own offline business. I haven’t been that successful at it because it takes serious concentration and having my two-year-old at home with me makes it difficult to get things done. Plus, my eldest child is in school now so I have a hectic schedule. So, I turned to affiliate marketing because it’s more routine and it doesn’t require as much attention. My goal is financial freedom. I have a serious educational debt load (well over 6 figures) and I would love to be free from the strain it puts on our finances. I’m using the FTMF course to keep me focused and moving towards my goal everyday. What have you done today to help you succeed at making money online? Do something! (God can’t steer a parked car.)
