Money Siphon System: My Progress – Day 1

As promised, I am going to lay out everything I do to make money online using the Money Siphon System by Jonny Andrews. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll post daily or do weekly updates. Like I said in my previous post, I am doing this all by myself as a busy mother of two kids. Let me first say that making money online is easy, but it can be time-consuming if you don’t know what you’re doing or if you don’t invest in your online business with time-saving tools. With that being said, I want to let you know that when I began doing affiliate marketing I only used free methods to start. It wasn’t until I started making money that I invested some of my profits and bought tools that would help me duplicate my success faster. So, you too can start out with free methods as well.

So here’s my process:

1) Find keywords using Micro Niche Finder (you could also use Google Adwords Keyword Tool which is free but takes longer) by James Jones. I select my keywords based on the number of searches that Jonny suggests in the Money Siphon System, low SOC (strength of competition) and really high OCI. If you use Google’s keyword tool, it won’t show you the OCI (online commercial intention). OCI is basically the percentage of people that would make a purchase online based on your keyword selection. You can learn more about OCI here. I also check the ad costs for my keyword because on my sites that have adsense ads I want to make sure that each click will bring me in a couple of dollars. Micro Niche Finder is a great tool to do all of these things at one time. You can see the number of searches, SOC, OCI, and ad costs. It even finds affiliate programs available for that keyword.

2) Build a website focusing on one keyword using the SEO tips for both on-page and off-page optimization found in the Money Siphon System. Now, some people purchase a domain based on their keyword (ie. http://KEYWORD.com), but I’ve had success getting free sites like blogger and squidoo to rank high on google using Jonny’s tips. I have purchased keyword-based domains to test products out for a review. Other times, I have a general domain name and then add website pages (or blog posts to it if it’s a blog) with the pages and blog posts being my keywords. Whether you choose to buy a keyword-based domain or not is up to you. You can make money from both methods.

3) Bookmark and Ping your site. I used to do this by hand and it took me forever. Jonny recommended a free automated bookmarking site, but that was too slow for me because eventually I had multiple sites and pages to bookmark. Eventually, I gave in and decided to buy a bookmarking tool to help me with this process. I use Bookmarking Demon, which allows me to bookmark and ping my websites to one hundred bookmarking sites on autopilot. This provides my sites with about 50 or so backlinks per run. By the time I bought Bookmarking Demon, I had hundreds of websites and thousands of blog posts that could use some backlinking. Fortunately, Bookmarking Demon allows you to schedule the posting of your bookmarks. I strongly recommended that you spread your bookmarking out and camouflage your accounts. If you want to find out more about Bookmarking Demon and how to use it effectively to get 100s of backlinks, then check out this PDF report (no signup required to view it).

4) Article Marketing. I write articles about my keywords and include a link back to my website and then submit my articles to directories. Again, you can do this for free and submit your articles to as many sites as you can. Make sure your articles are not just duplicate content. Use PLR articles to get ideas and then rewrite them. I currently use the Human Rewriter service to write my articles for me and get unique content. They will rewrite anything that you give them. You can get $5 worth of articles now just for signing up. After I get my articles back from Human Rewriter, I use Unique Article Wizard to submit them to all the top article directories, announcement lists, and ezine publishers. I get a lot of backlinks doing this for my affiliate sites.

5) Wash, Rinse, & Repeat. This is everything that I do in a nutshell. If you look at my right sidebar, you’ll see a section called ‘Tools I Use For Making Money Online.’ You’ll notice there’s a banner for Google Sniper. This is another product that I tested after purchasing the Money Siphon System. It also has great tips to get ranked high on Google and increase your profits. Either one of these products will help you to get started earning money online. The difference between the two programs is that Jonny’s Money Siphon System provides more ways of making money online through his modules. Google Sniper is very detailed in showing you how to setup everything. It is geared towards newbie affiliates, who know absolutely nada, and it may be a turn-off for more experienced marketers. The Money Siphon System can be used by everyone – both experienced and newbie affiliates. There’s something in there for everyone.

My goal is to continue building and promoting my sites using the Money Siphon System. Ultimately, I want to achieve a daily commission goal of $1000/day from all my affiliate programs combined. I know some of you are like “yeah, right.” I would like my daily income levels to be more consistent instead of $1000 here and there. This will involve more testing of course. As I test new sites, I plan on documenting my progress and earnings here. Hopefully, this will motivate you to start your own website or two or fifty and see where it takes you. Speaking of motivation, I always refer to Leslie Householder’s JackRabbit Factor. It is a great book and I am currently taking her Family Time & Money Freedom: 12-weeks To Financial Peace Of Mind course to help me achieve all of my financial goals. You can grab a free copy of JackRabbit Factor here.
